BCA Childcare Holiday Clubs

Our Holiday Clubs are unstructured in the sense that we provide as many resources as we can for the children to choose from and they simply having fun doing the activities they wish to do, when they wish to do them, after all it is their holiday time! We open for all of the half and full-term breaks and as long as there is demand, we normally cover all of the Inset Days with a holiday club session.

We provide many different resources including arts and craft materials, board games, Lego, table football, air hockey, mini skittles, electronic games, DVDs to choose from etc. All our resources are set up at different stations around the setting and the children are free to pick and choose whatever they would like to do.

Weather permitting, we always try and take the children to the local park or playground for some free play and when we get the opportunity, we sometimes have use of the school playing field.

We ask that children are provided with a mid-morning snack and a packed lunch (please remember that we are a nut free setting) with a refillable water/juice bottle, and some small money for our now famous and traditional ‘tuck shop visit’ around 3pm each day.

Don’t worry, we don’t take them on mass to the local co-op! Within the Community Centre we have a reception area which sells little sweet treats! We don’t recommend providing your child with more than a couple of pounds for this.

Booking

Our setting opens at 8am and finishes promptly at 5pm for each session. If you are aiming to collect as late as possible, please ensure you aim for 4.55pm to allow the staff to close promptly at 5pm. Unfortunately, we do not offer half day sessions and we normally ask for a minimum of two booked sessions to be able to use our Holiday Club.

You must go through the registration process to be able to use our Holiday Clubs and in the first instance please email your enquiry to enquiries@beaufortchildcare.co.uk or use the contact form to make your enquiry.
